Comments: I have been doing genealogical research since 1984, but it was not until last year that I began to do research on my McAlister lineage. I have noticed many derivations of the name as I have done my research, but was never more surprised than today when I found my Joseph McAlister in J25. I joined Clan Donald last year at the games held in Murray, Ky. I am so happy to be able to know what my lineage is and will be submitting my membership form ASAP so I can continue to learn more about my Scottish roots and make more friends as I go. Thanks for such an awesome site. ;) :o
