Biennial Gatherings

Every two years we hold a national gathering of McAlisters to learn further about our shared and varied beginnings, to trace family migration both across the Atlantic and througjout America, to share the story of our ancestors and to simply experience the fellowship.

Clan McAlister of America invites you to gather where history, heritage, and hospitality meet — Greenville, South Carolina. Join kinfolk from near and far as we celebrate our proud Scottish, Irish, Ulster-Scots, and Scots-Irish roots (or whatever your family journey entailed). Share stories of generations past, and create new memories together. From the rolling Carolina foothills to the warm welcome of the South, this is more than a reunion — it’s a homecoming. And it all happens simultaneously with our nation's Semiquincentenial!

This will truly feel like coming home! But proof of the same is left as an exercise for our students of genealogy, history, and family lore.
